中国保监会:截至6月保险保障基金规模达到88亿元

    昨天，中国保监会宣布，截至今年6月，保险保障基金规模达到88亿元。通过这一制度，能够在保险公司出现风险损失时，由保险保障基金对被保险人的损失进行必要的补偿，最大限度地保护被保险人利益，减轻对社会造成的负面影响。

    中国保监会昨天发布十六大以来我国保险业显著成绩时表示，十六大以来，经过几年的努力，在保险业发展比较快的情况下，保险业主要风险得到了有效控制和化解，没有出现大的系统性风险和问题，保险公司偿付能力充足，保险市场运行稳定、健康安全。

    2006年我国保费收入排名世界第9位，比2000年上升了7位，国际排名平均每年上升1位。
