07年特殊奥运会出现首笔保险理赔

    7月20日，2007年上海世界特殊奥运会首例意外险理赔案顺利结案，一名来自香港的工作人员获太平人寿1900余元赔款。这是本届特奥会发生的第一起意外伤害保险赔付案。    

    据太平人寿有关人士介绍，7月12日，该被保险人在工作时不慎滑倒，导致脚踝、髋骨、肩膀多处擦伤、淤血。14日，特奥会执委会向本届特奥会指定保险合作伙伴——中国保险集团报案，接到报案后，太平人寿及时开展相关工作。由于被保险人不熟悉上海医院的情况，且工作繁忙，就诊时间无法迎合一般医院的要求，太平人寿紧急联系了SOS急难援助中心，使客户如愿进行了治疗，此时距离客户报案仅用了一个半小时。

    其后，太平人寿客服人员多次致电客户，跟踪客户的病情。在确认客户无须后续治疗后，7月20日该索赔案件经审核后结案，赔款1898.3元人民币于收到理赔单证当日划入了被保险人账户。（新保险周刊）
